Thank you for shopping with The Thoughtful Daughter. Below you’ll find how we process and ship your orders.





Order Processing Time



  • Orders are typically processed within 2–4 business days after payment is received.
  • During launches, holidays, or sales, processing times may be slightly longer, but we’ll always do our best to get your order out as quickly as possible.






Pre-Order Items


From time to time, some items (like new bookmark collections) may be offered as pre-orders.


  • Estimated ship dates for pre-order items will be clearly listed on the product page.
  • If your order includes both in-stock and pre-order items, the order may ship together once all items are ready, unless otherwise noted.



Please refer to the product description for the most accurate expected ship date.





Shipping Locations


We currently ship within the United States.

If you are outside of the U.S. and are interested in placing an order, please contact us and we’ll let you know if shipping is possible.





Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates



  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size/weight of your order.
  • Delivery time depends on the carrier and shipping method selected at checkout.
  • Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email, and tracking information when available.



Please note that carrier delays, weather, or holiday volume may impact delivery times and are outside of our control.





Packaging


Bookmarks and paper goods are packaged with care to help protect corners and finishes in transit. If your order arrives damaged, please refer to our Return & Refund Policy and contact us with photos so we can review.





Address Accuracy


Please double-check your shipping address at checkout.


  • We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address entered at checkout.
  • If you notice a mistake after placing your order, contact us as soon as possible. If the order has not yet been processed, we’ll do our best to update the address.






Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages


Once an order has been handed to the shipping carrier:


  • If tracking shows “delivered” but you don’t see your package, please first check with neighbors, household members, or your local post office.
  • If the package appears stuck or lost in transit, contact the carrier with your tracking number. You’re always welcome to email us as well, and we’ll do our best to assist.



We are not responsible for refunds or replacements due to packages lost or stolen after delivery is confirmed by the carrier, but we will always try to help you find a solution.
